Norwegian Cruise Line Health & Safety Protocols
With the relaxation of travel requirements around the world, Norwegian is thrilled to welcome all guests back on their ships to cruise freely to the places they've been dreaming of, regardless of vaccination status and with no testing requirements. Destination-specific requirements will still need to be met.
All guests must accept the terms and conditions in the guest ticket contract. In addition, guests must agree to abide by all of the cruise line's health and safety protocols and acknowledge the risks associated with COVID-19 during their voyage and shoreside experiences. Guests who fail to agree to these terms and conditions will not be permitted to board.
Safety Onboard Norwegian Ships
With Sail Safe, the industry-leading Health & Safety Program, Norwegian will continue to put their guests and crew members first by keeping everyone safe and healthy on board the ships and in the communities Norwegian visits. In addition to requiring the crew to be up-to-date with all their vaccinations, Norwegian will continue to evolve the already robust science-backed program to broaden the cleaning, sanitation, and air filtration technologies across the fleet.
- Continuous Ship-Wide Cleaning & Disinfection Measures: Comprehensive enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols, using EPA-approved disinfectants, have been implemented throughout the cruise experience.
- Upgraded Medical-Grade Air Filters: Norwegian is strategically installing medical-grade air filters of the highest filtration grade, MERV 13 or HEPA, capable of removing 99.9% of airborne pathogens, including COVID-19, and implementing new bi-polar ionization technology.
- Enhanced Onboard Medical Teams & Health Services: Norwegian has improved the onboard medical capabilities with additional staffing relative to capacity and enhanced facilities including new and upgraded equipment and onshore medical institution partnerships.
