Holland America Line is excited to explore the world with you. They have relaxed their health protocols and travel requirements. All travelers are invited to cruise with Holland America Line, regardless of vaccination status, on most voyages!*

- Unvaccinated guests are welcome with a self-administered COVID-19 test taken within 3 days of embarkation.

- Some itineraries have additional requirements, including all Canada, Alaska and Australia cruises and some cruises to remote destinations.
Onboard Experience
On Board Holland America Line's Ships
All staterooms and public areas are frequently and thoroughly sanitized with medical-grade disinfectant proven to kill coronaviruses. Hand-washing stations and hand sanitizer dispensers are available throughout every ship.
Enhanced Air Filtration
Holland America has enhanced the air-handling systems on board all ships using a combination of increased circulation of fresh air together with upgraded air filtration.
24/7 Medical Care
Every ship has a team of experienced doctors and nurses trained to manage a broad range of medical conditions, including COVID-19. Holland's award-winning onboard medical centers are fully equipped with testing and treatment capabilities if needed.
Mask Policy
Masks on board are recommended but not required indoors or outdoors*. It is highly recommended that guests wear a mask in the World Stage and other entertainment areas, casino, spa treatment rooms, Club HAL and during other congregate events. For more details, view Holland's FAQs.
*Masks are required on the ship indoors on Alaska cruises that sail between Whittier to Vancouver and on buses/trains on Cruisetours.

Keeping you safe on shore is one of the highest priorities. All ports welcome Holland America Line shore excursions and while some ports allow independent tours and self-exploration, others may require a shore excursion provided by Holland America Line to go ashore. Throughout your cruise, they constantly review all local health and safety guidelines to keep you informed and ready to explore safely.

Flexible Cancellation
Book a cruise by September 30, 2022 (that departs on or before December 31, 2022) and you can cancel for any reason up to 30 days and receive the following at no extra cost:
- Cancel up to 30 days before departure and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC)
- Receive a 100% FCC within 30 days and up until your embarkation date if you or someone in your immediate travel party tests positive for COVID-19
COVID-19 Protection Program
Holland's program can help you with any COVID-19 issues, free of charge.
