Private Naples

Sometime between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., a private driver will pick you up at the Amalfi Ferry Pier or any other meeting point near the port that you arrange. A driver will chauffeur you and your companions to Naples in the comfort of your own private sedan or van. It's a luxurious way to see this wonderful part of Italy.

The Napoli tour starts in the capital of the Campania region in historic Naples. Tiny, narrow streets wind their way around the city, held in check by the long, straight Spaccanapoli that cuts its way through the center of the city. Following this main road, you'll easily find many of the city's most beautiful sites.

Take in the grandeur of the Piazza del Plebiscito, which is surrounded by the Royal Palace, built in the 17th-century, and home of the Bourbon Kings. The Church of San Francesco di Paola, a domed cathedral with a portico that resembles that of the Pantheon in Rome.

The huge, imposing 13th-century Castel Nuovo is another sight to behold, with its stately, stark medieval towers surrounding a marble triumphal arch that was added in 1470 to celebrate Alfonso of Aragon's entry to Naples.

Since you're in Naples, take the opportunity to enjoy the city's most famous dish: Neapolitan Pizza. You can find many delightful pizzerias in the city. If pizza's not your thing, ask your driver for suggestions on where to find any of Naples's other delicious treats.

Lightweight summer clothing and light layers are recommended, with sweaters and jackets advised for evenings and cooler months. Some terrain in Italy is uneven and archaeological sites can be challenging for those who are not surefooted, so keep that in mind when booking your tour. Vehicles are accessible for a foldable wheelchair or walker.

Bookings for this tour are available from March-November, with each tour lasting 8 to 9 hours. Private tours for small and large groups are both available, using either luxurious Mercedes sedans or Mercedes vans. Whether it's a family vacation or a large group, party, or wedding excursion, expert, local drivers will privately chauffeur you through Italy.

Please Note: This tour includes an English-speaking driver, fuel, highway toll fees, and parking fees. This tour does not include entrance fees or tickets to local attractions, or private guides. Though your English-speaking driver can provide commentary while driving you around, they cannot act as a guide outside of the vehicle. Food and beverages are not included in this tour, though there are times set aside for snack breaks and meals included in the day's schedule. The driver will be happy happy to make suggestions about the best places to eat throughout the day. At the end of the tour, you will be returned to the Amalfi Ferry Pier.
