Best of Wellington Coastal Highlights

Your adventure starts with a picturesque drive along the Wellington Waterfront, ascending to Mt. Victoria for panoramic views of the city and its charming harbor.

As we journey around Oriental Bay and Evans Bay Parades, you’ll spot an abundance of private cable cars precariously set against the hillside. An iconic Wellington landmark, the Wellington Blown Away sign makes for a memorable photo opportunity. The journey then leads us to the famed Weta Cave Shop, where you can encounter life-sized sculptures, explore a mini museum, and watch an exclusive documentary.

Continuing the coastal theme, our route takes us alongside scenic Shelly Bay and around the Miramar Peninsula. A delightful lunch break at a local seaside cafe or restaurant lets you savor local cuisine (main course and drink included).

Next, we pay homage to Wellington’s history at the Wahine Memorial Park. Then, it’s on to the enchanting Taputarenga Marine Reserve and Te Kopahou Reserve Visitors Centre, where our exploration of Wellington's southern coast begins.
