Your walking tour will take place within the historic center of Nice, starting from the Promenade des Anglais and through some of the most characteristic streets of the city.

Nice is famous for its sunny weather, the Promenade des Anglais, the beauty of its center, and its great history. What people often don't know is that Nice is above all a city with an incredible gastronomic culture! And there's no better way to get to know this city and its traditions than to taste its dishes, meet the warm, local population and learn about its habits and traditions. You will not only taste your way through the city, but you will also learn of the town history and culture.

Begin with an olive oil degustation, taste different kinds of olive oil from artisanal production, learning about the method of production and the difference between young and strong as you discover all products made with olives from Nice.
Socca is a special and savory pancake made with chickpea flour. Crispy outside and soft inside, the Socca is an essential of Nice street food. Pissaladière, a tasty onion tart made with a kind of pizza paste, traditionally cooked in a wood oven and topped with olives and anchovies is a classic dish that can be tasted as street food, for a snack, or paired with a glass of Provence wine for aperitif.
Sip some typical Provence wine with tapenade. Traditionally tapenade is olive-based with capers, anchovy, and olive oil. Very popular in the South of France, it is commonly enjoyed as a bread spread paired with a glass of Rosé. Provence, the very first wine region in France, will deliver its history in a wine glass from the area. Next up is cheeses and charcuterie. Try the specialties of Nice including cheeses flavored with olives or dried tomatoes, goat cheese served with local olive oil, a mix of Italian and French prosciutto and saucissons, and other special charcuterie dishes of the area. Tourte de blette is a very specific dish of Nice and may be found to be salty but more than all sweet for dessert! Based on swiss chard and pine nuts, this pie is very much appreciated by the locals. It's a surprisingly delicious way to eat your vegetables.
Last, but not least, is the famous French Riviera sweets. Lavender or anise biscuits, violet sweets, and other desserts made with the tasty Lemon from Menton, fresh homemade ice creams along with other very typical sweet tastes.
