The walled city of Valletta was established in the 1500s on a peninsula by the Knights of St. John, a Roman Catholic order. Known for museums, palaces, and grand churches, the Baroque landmarks include St. John's Co-Cathedral, whose opulent interior is home to the Caravaggio masterpiece "The Beheading of Saint John." With this tour you will also gain a new appreciation of the efforts of the Knight Hospitallers to fortify the city and will understand why the island of Malta was such a target during WWII.

You can decide to sail near the Blue Grotto, fishing village, and St. Peter's Pool. The Blue Grotto refers to the many sea caverns on the southeast coast of Malta, a short distance off the fishermen's harbor. St. Peter's Pool is one of the most beautiful and stunning natural swimming pools in Malta and is located close to Marsaxlokk at the tip of Delimara Point in the southwest of Malta. The sea at St. Peters Pool is crystal clear with an amazing azure and light green colors offering wonderful water activities.

Sail to the north of the island and see the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is a most photographed part of the Maltese Islands often because it just looks like a little slice of paradise. It's a small bay with shallow, azure-colored water and is located on the West coast of Comino, between the main island and Cominotto (a rock-sized island).
