Are you looking for an active and adventurous tour that offers sweeping views provided by Mother Nature? Then this is the excursion for you! Meet your friendly, professional, local nature guide who will transport you to the base of a tropical rain forest in the Ko'olau Mountains where your exploration will begin.

Your exciting bike route includes a 10-mile paved loop with 5-miles of uphill riding and a 5-mile descent over paved, jungle road. Your electric-assist bicycle provides an 11-speed drivetrain, 250-watt motor and a 500-watt battery providing a serious boost of climbing power while preserving the feel of riding a mountain bike. This E-Bike tour above Honolulu makes uphill riding a lot of fun and easy with a thrilling descent for a course with a ton of fun.

Be outfitted with a Kona electric-assist mountain bike and Bell helmet and be provided safety instructions and then it's time for the fun to begin (rain gear is also provided if necessary). Start by ascending the 5-mile paved jungle road high above Honolulu. As you ride you will soon have several scenic viewpoints along the route before coasting down to Pu'u Ualaka'a. Views include Ko'olau and Wai'anae Mountains, Le'ahi Crater (Diamond Head), Waikiki, Honolulu, Reef Runway, Makakilo and Red Hill. Total elevation gain is just over 1,600 feet above Honolulu, and you will make stops at all the best viewpoints so you can take pictures to preserve the memories of this lush rainforest riding experience.

Surrounded by changing forest, you will ride thru eucalyptus forest, swamp mahogany, bamboo, banyan, all while listening to the sounds of various birds singing in the trees. Enjoy the magnificent, sweeping views from Manoa Valley to Ewa Beach and hear narrative from your guide before finishing the ride. Once you reach the grassy park at the bottom of the hill, you'll then return to Waikiki by van.
