Is Odyssey of the Seas the Largest Cruise Ship?

Known for having some of the world’s largest cruise ships (from Symphony of the Seas to Harmony of the Seas and more), Royal Caribbean continues to grow its fleet of ships with its new Odyssey of the Seas coming out in November 2020.

Odyssey of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s second Quantum-Ultra class ship, an upgrade from their standard Quantum-class ships (Anthem of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, and Quantum of the Seas). While Odyssey of the Seas is not the largest cruise ship in the fleet, or in the world, it still carries a lot of fun.

Across the ship’s 16 decks, cruisers will find everything from the jaw-dropping SeaPlex (offering bumper cars, roller skating, a circus school, and more) to an over 300 foot high observation capsule for epic ocean views to a skydiving simulator and 30 foot high rock climbing wall for the adventurous at heart. This isn’t to mention all of the relaxation for adults from the adults-only solarium lounge to the 220-foot poolside movie screen to the indulging Vitality at Sea Spa.

And this is just the beginning of everything Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas has to offer.

Is Odyssey of the Seas the largest cruise ship? No, it’s not. But this ship home porting in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida likely has everything you’ve imagined for your family’s cruise vacation.
